AQL™ is a platform technology that may also be used for other FDA-approved compounds to solve other problems around medication compliance. Mood-stabilizing medications used to treat psychosis or bipolar disorder have already been targets for extended-release formulation, and improved versions of these drugs may also be formulated using Plumb’s novel technology. Many drugs used for pain control may also be formulated using Plumb’s AQL™ platform technology, including most opioid drugs, as well as the most common drugs used to treat depression.
